AIROTEC LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY is implementing a project entitled:


„Implementation of the internationalization business model for Airotec Sp. z o.o.”


under the Eastern Poland 2014-2020 Operational Program, Priority Axis I: Entrepreneurial Eastern Poland, Measure 1.2: SME Internationalization, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of the project is to implement a new internationalization business model (IBP) related to the introduction of Airotec’s products to foreign markets, which will increase the company’s economic activity and strengthen its position on international markets in a way that is adequate to the company’s potential.


Planned effects: Increase in Airotec Sp. z o.o. product sales, building a permanent presence of products on foreign markets, building awareness of the Airotec Sp. z o.o. brand.

Project value: PLN 717,521.75

Value of eligible costs: PLN 591,000.00

Contribution of European Funds: PLN 502,350.00


Project 2

Commencement of Research and Development work at Airotec Sp. z o.o.


Starting from 1st February 2021, Airotec began a research and development project entitled:

„Development of innovative inspection and measurement technology for visual navigation aids using an unmanned aerial vehicle”.


The main objective of the project is to build an information system that enables the provision of inspection services for visual navigation aids at airports using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and software based on image processing and analysis technology. The project will result in a product innovation in the form of an integrated information system, which will be implemented in the applicant’s business activities to expand the company’s product offering. As part of the project, research and development work will be carried out to develop and integrate system modules responsible for automating the inspection process and developing image processing algorithms for virtual analysis of changes in the PAPI light approach angle, visual analysis of the landing approach system lights, and visual analysis of runway lights.

Project value: 4,295,525.00 PLN

EU funding for the project: 3,252,662.50 PLN


The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Programme 2014-2020. The project is implemented under the National Centre for Research and Development competition: 1/1.1.1/2020 – Fast Track.
